- Not getting enough prospects to visit your blog
- Not consistently posting new content
- Not converting new visitors into leads
- Not making blog posts that offer solutions
- Not using keywords properly for free organic traffic from search engines
99% of network marketers have this problem, but you know what, learning how to keep existing customers is where the real problem is. How to keep them happy, so they will come back is a lot easier than scrambling for new prospects continuously. You've already established a relationship, this is what you must leverage to get better results.
Not Consistently Posting New Content
This is the downfall of most bloggers, and the reason is time, not enough precious time, right. Well, good news, there's a new blogging method out there that uses other bloggers content, for your own blog post.
Here's a real time example of this method: http://weteachu.wordpress.com/2010/06/12/10-foundational-tips-for-bloggers-wanting-to-make-money-blogging/
Not Converting New Visitors Into Leads
It all starts with the blog title. Don't make prospects guess what your blog post is about, be direct, so you don't waste their time with some snappy, quirky title that means something different from what the thought it did. Capture their attention. Not giving them enough incentive ( must be a free offer that has value ) to sign-up is one of the top mistakes. Plus, your opt-in form must have a motivating call to action.
Not Making Blog Posts That Offer Solutions
Put yourself in your prospects shoes for a minute. What problems are they having, no traffic, how to monetize, how to create blog content, etc. Open your post by presenting the problem, from a personal view. Then present portions of the possible solutions in your post. Don't give the entire solution. At the end of each post present a call to action to obtain the solution to their problem.
Not Using Keywords Properly For Free Organic Traffic From Search Engines
There's nothing better than free traffic, right. Learn to use keywords properly, and you'll generate free organic traffic from search engines. Make sure your keyword is in the title of your blog. Then place it again in the first or second sentence of your first paragraph. Make sure not to overuse it, and always make your post revelant to the keyword.
